I had to take my remote to a locksmith because it came with an uncut key. Not a problem there.
My issue is that the remote wouldn’t program to my car. So the locksmith put the old chip in the new fob. I can’t use the door lock/unlock anymore.
Should have gone to the car dealership on this one!

Lexus dealership cut the key for $25.00. The 1999 RX 300 programmed fine for the key to start the car. I could not enter program mode for the fob. Lexus dealership programmed the key for $50.00 and threw in a wash and vacuum, which was nice. Total for this key was roughly $105.00. Kudos to Bobby Rahal Lexus in Ephrata PA.

The key fob I got for my Lexus RX 300 was a match even though I was unsure of the year - whether it was 1999-2001. But Remotes also had a fob within that span and a local locksmith was able to figure out the programming of the fob. Thanks so much for helping me save money on my fob replacement!

The programmed key fob to my 1999 Lexus fell apart. Taped it together for a temporary fix and then braced for the $325 charge for a new one from Lexus. But then I found out about the option of ordering the key and programmable fob from you for around $59!  It came fast, cost $50 to have it programmed by a reputable local locksmith, and all is new again. Works beautifully!  I had the old fob replaced also, so now even have a spare!
