REMOTE PROGRAMMING (For vehicles WITH the Driver Information Center (D.I.C.))
Please make sure to read through the programming before attempting.
All remotes that are expected to work for the vehicle will need to be with you in the vehicle before attempting to program. Any remotes not present at the time of programming will cease to function until reprogrammed.
1. Enter the vehicle, close, and unlock all doors using the power lock switch on the driver’s door.
2. Insert a key into the ignition and switch the key as far to the ON position as it will go without starting.
For the following step you will need to locate the button with a car image that has an “i” next to it. It will either be located to the left or right of the dashboard, or to the left of the radio. If you do not have this button, then you must use the trip/odometer procedure below.
3. On the D.I.C., press the vehicle information button until “PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY is displayed on the dashboard display.
4. Press the set/reset button (the button with a checkmark image) until “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE” is displayed on the dash.
Once “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE” is displayed on the dash, you have successfully entered programming mode and are ready to program your new remotes.
5. On the first remote you wish to program, press and hold the “LOCK” and “UNLOCK” buttons at the same time and hold for up to fifteen (15) seconds. You should hear an audible chime from the vehicle to indicate that the remote has been programmed successfully. If no chime is heard, release the buttons and try holding them down again.
6. Repeat STEP 5 for all remotes you wish to program. You can program up to four (4) remotes total.
7. Once you have programmed all your remotes, exit the programming mode by turning the key off and removing it from the ignition.
8. Test all remotes to ensure they are functioning. If any did not program, restart the programming procedure from STEP 1 and switch the order in which you are programming the remotes.

KEY PROGRAMMING
Please make sure to read through the programming instructions completely before attempting.
You must have one (1) factory key that can start the vehicle to perform this procedure. If you do not have one (1) factory key for the vehicle currently, a trip to a dealership or an automotive locksmith will be required for the programming.
1. Enter the vehicle and close the driver’s door.
2. Using a working factory key, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position as far as it will go without starting the vehicle, wait one (1) second, then switch it OFF.
3. Remove the key from the ignition.
4. Insert the new key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position as far as it will go without starting the vehicle.
5. The key is now programmed.
6. Test the key to ensure that it starts the vehicle. If the key did not program, restart the programming procedure from STEP 1. To program additional keys, repeat the entire procedure.
