4 of 5 Not a bad deal.... June 2, 2016
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from New Lenox, IL United States
The new shells work "as advertised": remove the circuit board from the original remote(s), put it in the new case and I have buttons that I can read again (this was my primary reason for replacing the old).

Just two complaints/suggestions: There were no instructions...and it took just a little playing with it to complete the job. Others with less knack for this might have more problems. Also, I wound up breaking a pin off each old remote removing the battery contacts off the back to put in new remote. This five cent part really can't be included with new shells? It's just a piece of aluminum with no electronics whose presence would have made the job of switchover 1/4th as hard/long to complete.
