I just purchased this as a replacement to my original. The new one didn't improve the distance I could use it with. I did take it to a shop to have it programmed. The card that came with the new remote how to program it was not that useful, but gave me a place to go to find out more. I didn't particularly like the instructions and looked up a couple of other videos. I contacted customer service and they sent me a link that looks like it has the correct information. I paid the place I took the remote to $30. I'm going to try to do it myself with the video in the link.
I was concerned that the remote in the picture doesn't look like the one I received. It's a different size & doesn't have to logo on it. I saw somewhere that this same kind of remote can be purchased on Amazon for $20 less. I'm not going to return this one.
Customer service was prompt & the person seemed concerned.
After I try programming the remote, if it works correctly, I might try to update this review.
