Bought one previously for a different vehicle and it worked fine. After I purchased this one I found it needed to be programmed by a locksmith at a price of ( $130 -$ 140 ) I purchased for a backup set of keys so I didn't have it programmed.

All good so far. The key fob was a reasonable price, especially considering what the local Toyota dealer would've charged. It arrived promptly, within the time frame promised, and it was easy to program to my vehicle (a pointer to printable programming instructions was included in the package).

The key fob, which comes with a new battery (a nice touch), works as advertised, cleanly and consistently and reliably.

Our shopping experience was good and the remotes came in about a week.  However, they are not the right remotes for the truck.  We are hopeful that the return process will go as smoothly.
