The only difference between the after market keys and the original is that the shape of the green electric piece is slightly different and won’t fit perfect with the new key cover so you can either get the new one registered or cut the corner piece of plastic that is in the way of it fitting perfectly, the 2007 Honda Civic requires a special tool to activate the key with your car so you may either have to do surgery on both keys or take it to a locksmith
