Our garage door opener is over 30 years old.  Even though the programming directions weren't quite right, I was still able to get the new remote to work.  I was pleasantly surprised.

They actually had remotes for this vintage Genie.  I bought 2 of them, received in a couple of days, and programmed both in less than one minute.  A very happy customer!!

Good Morning,  Ordering these new remotes, I can not get them to work with the Genie Pro Max .  Used the details off the old remote when ordering the new controls.  Followed the steps that came with the remotes and also went on-line finding other instructions. Still no go.  The Pro Max is model PMX500 1C/B which indicates a ACSR1G remote but the old unit was what I had ordered.  Also had a Canada number of 2133 102 233A on the Pro Max.  Can you help me on why these new remotes are not working?
