REMOTE PROGRAMMING

Please make sure to read through the programming instructions completely before attempting.

You must have two cut keys that currently can turn in the ignition and in the driver’s door to attempt the following programming. All remotes that are expected to work for the vehicle will need to be with you in the vehicle before attempting the programming. Any remotes not present at the time of programming will cease to function until reprogrammed.

1. Enter the vehicle, close the driver’s door, and roll down the driver’s side window.

2. Put the first key in the ignition and turn it to the ON position as far as it will go without starting the vehicle.

3. Reach out the driver side window and put the second key into the lock outside the driver’s door and manually turn it to lock the vehicle doors. DO NOT remove the key from the lock and DO NOT open the driver’s door as this will exit the programming mode.

4. Pick up the first remote you wish to program (we recommend using a working remote if you have one first) and press the unlock button once.

At this point either the horn will honk or the indicator lights (hazard lamps/blinkers) will flash indicating that the programming mode for the first remote has been activated. Wait six (6) seconds before continuing.

5. After six (6) seconds have passed, press and release the unlock button on the same remote one (1) time.

6. Once you have programmed your remote, exit the programming mode by turning the key off and removing the key from the ignition and the driver’s door lock.

7. If you have additional remotes you need to program, you must restart the programming again As follows:

• For the second remote, proceed through STEP 1-4 as written above, then for STEP 5 pick up the remote and press the unlock button two (2) times.

• For the third remote, proceed through STEP 1-4 as written above, then for STEP 5 pick up the remote and press the unlock button three (3) times.

• For the fourth remote, proceed through STEP 1-4 as written above, then for STEP 5 pick up the fourth remote and press the unlock button four (4) times.

Test all remotes to ensure they are functioning. If any did not program, restart the programming procedure from STEP 1 and switch the order in which you are programming the remotes.
