Bought a new fob for my 2010 Subaru Forester because the lock button on my old one was broken. Got this new one and correctly programmed it with the car multiple times and it never worked. So much so that my own original fob stopped working completely. I had to use just my key to open the door and Everytime I used the key to unlock my car the alarm would go off. I re-programmed my original one and got the unlock button working again, but I definitely got a faulty remote and I'm very disappointed with the results.

I have tried to pair the remote using self programming instructions but as with the 2 previous aftermarket remotes I ordered from another company this one did not work either 2010 Japanese origin Subaru impreza 2.5i 5 mt I am able to reprogram the original remote back in the system previously now both lock/unlock on original remote broke from the board internally so I ordered on a hope/prayer but "surprise" the automotive industry wins again.

I cannot give any stars at this point because the mechanic who told me about your website was unable to program the key fob that I bought on your website.  He said I'd have to go to a dealer to get it done because they have better equipment.  I am an 80-year old woman, and might try it myself, but will have to wait until after October 16th.  Not sure if I can do it, but would like to avoid a trip to the dealer.
