Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob Programming (not for remote headed combo key, for standard remote) To program a remote you must already have a working remote. I you do not have a working remote you
must take to the item to a dealership or automotive locksmith for programming.
Procedure 1
1. Insert key into the ignition turn it to the ON position ( do not start the car)
2. Press and Hold Unlock on the functioning remote for 10 seconds.
3. While holding the Unlock button press the Panic button for one second. Release both buttons at the
same time. Vehicle will chime signaling programming mode.
4. Press any button on the 1st remote to reprogram vehicle will chime again.
5. Press any button on additional remote to program a second remote.
6. Turn off ignition to exit programming.
Procedure 2
1. Insert key into the ignition turn it to the ON position ( do not start the car)
2. Press and Hold Unlock on the functioning remote for 10 seconds.
3. While holding the Unlock button press the Panic button for one second. Release both buttons at the
same time. Vehicle will chime signaling programming mode.
4. Press the lock and unlock button together on the remote and release. Vehicle will chime press and
release the Unlock button and the vehicle will chime again signaling programming.
5. Press and release Lock and Unlock together on the second remote vehicle will chime. Press and
release Unlock button on the remote vehicle will chime again signaling successful programming.
6. Turn off ignition to exit programming.

You must have two working programmed keys to perform this procedure. If you do not have two working original keys you will need to have your new key programmed at a dealer or auto locksmith.
MOST 2010+ vehicles are dealer or auto locksmith program only! (this procedure may work depending on your trim level)
1. Insert first programmed key into ignition and turn ignition switch to ON for 5 seconds. Do not exceed 15 seconds. 2. Turn ignition switch to OFF and remove key. 3. Insert second programmed key into ignition and turn ignition switch to ON. You must do this within 15 seconds of removing first key. After 10 seconds the immobilizer warning lamp will illuminate and an audible tone will be heard. 4. Turn ignition switch to OFF and remove key. 5. Within 60 seconds insert new un-programmed key into ignition and turn ignition switch to ON. 6. After 10 seconds an audible tone will be heard and the immobilizer warning lamp will illuminate for 3 seconds. 7. Turn ignition switch to OFF and remove key. 8. For each additional key to be programmed you must start at step 1 and follow procedure again.You can have up to 8 keys programmed to vehicle.
